Hawaiian Black Sand
Bring a little piece of the islands to your crabitat.
Hawaiian Black Sand is natural volcanic sand with a coarse, glossy texture. Deep black grains are mixed with small white flecks throughout, a natural part of the sand. This is live sand, carrying the natural marine microorganisms and bacteria from where it was harvested.
In the wild, hermit crabs forage across sand and rocky shoreline like this every day. Now yours can too.
Just sand. Nothing added.
Foraging & Enrichment
Add Hawaiian Black Sand to a small dish in the crabitat and let your crabs dig in.
Keep it separate from the main substrate so it stays easy to refresh.
